Whenever possible I try to use ingredients that are featured on the ark of taste. It’s hard to believe but some of the most flavorful and unique foods are in decline or endangered. Preserving heritage animal breeds and plants is very important to the individuality of cultures. By feeding our pets these types high quality ingredients I accomplish two things:
- Feed our pets food that has not been genetically modified
- Help maintain small farmers that take the extra effort required to raise these special plants and animals
